JGバラードの長編、「楽園への疾走」。なんとも読んでてつらいけど、最後の最後まで早く読み終えたくなる、そう言う筋書き。
なんとも救いの無い結末。も、援護のしようも無いくらい。
とりあえずこれは、あれだ。不朽の名作、「蝿の王」だ。でも、こっちのほうが救いがある。でも、なんで欧米人は「南の島」になると残酷になるような筋書きになるんだろうなぁ。
ディカプリオ主演のビーチも相当、残酷な話だったと思ったけど。
